Judge Gabrielle Sanders –Morency is the first black Judge elected to the county bench in Osceola County. She has served in the misdemeanor, criminal traffic, and county civil, and small claims matters for the past 6 years.  Judge Sanders-Morency received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida, where she majored in English and American Literature.  She was one of the charter members of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity at the University and was a member of the executive board. In 2006, she was admitted to Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Law. At FAMU College of Law, Judge Sanders-Morency was involved in Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, the Black Law Student Association, and competed on the Mock Trial Team.  She gained valuable trial experience by participating in the FAMU College of Law Prosecution Clinic as a certified legal intern with the Ninth Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office. Upon graduation, she was hired by the State Attorney’s Office and became the first attorney in her family.
